In this tour we will cover the 3 most popular destinations in Kenya - Masai Mara National Reserve (2 nights), Lake Naivasha (1 night) & Amboseli National Park (2 nights). Tour starts and ends at Nairobi. With our experienced driver guides, it will be a trip of a lifetime!

5 Days | Big Five Hunt Safari (private Safari)

Day 1
Nairobi
Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on EK 719 at 14:15 hrs, clear Immigrations and Customs formalities. On exit from the Arrivals Hall, met and welcomed by Kenya pride tours representative and transferred to your Nairobi Hotel. Assisted with check-in at the hotel and provided with a safari briefing. The rest of the afternoon at leisure. Overnight at SAROVA STANLEY HOTEL.
Day 2
Nairobi - Maasai Mara
Early breakfast in the resort At 07:30 hrs, depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, driving along the Rift Valley floor, via Mai Mahiu Town, where you turn left towards the Maasai Mara ??? going past Narok Town (the Maasai Capital). Arrive at the lodge time for lunch. Late afternoon game viewing drive (at 15:30 hrs) in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, generally acclaimed as the finest game viewing area in the world! Return at sunset, for dinner and overnight at MAASAI MARA SOPA LODGE.
Day 3
Game Day in Maasai Mara
Day of game viewing in the Maasai Mara. The Reserve, being in the same eco-system as the Serengeti National Park, is a World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife: over 2 million ungulates, 4000 lions, 1000 leopard, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species. This days' safari is an exploration of the endless plains dotted with trees and kopjes from which majestic lions control their kingdom; gaze upon the Great Migration in awe or find an elusive leopard in a riverine forest. Or perhaps see everything from a bird???s-eye view???by soaring over the plains at sunrise on a hot air balloon safari? You have 02 options for the day: 1) Full day game viewing with picnic lunch boxes out in the vast plains, allowing you to reach further and see more of the Maasai Mara, unbounded by need to return back for lunch. OR 2) 02 game viewing drives: at Sunrise and sunset, returning to the Lodge / Camp for a hot lunch and relaxation during the mid-day heat (which provides you with an opportunity for a swim and enjoyment of your accommodations??? infrastructures between 10:00 hrs to 15:30 hrs)). In this area you will have the opportunity to sight the big five: the lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino???. if you are lucky! All meals and overnight at MAASAI MARA SOPA LODGE. OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES (At an additional cost - payable direct): 01 Hour HOT AIR BALLOON SAFARI over the Mara Plains, culminating with a Champaign bush breakfast 02 Visit to a traditional Masai Village
Day 4
Maasai Mara-Lake Naivasha
An early breakfast at the lodge. At 07:00 hours, depart for your last game viewing drive in the Amboseli National Park. At 08:00hrs exit the park and embark on your journey to Naivasha via Nairobi. Driving due west out of Nairobi, ascending to the edge of the Great Rift Valley, for a dramatic and panoramic descent, down the Great Rift Valley escarpment, to the floor below. Arrive at Lake Naivasha at around noon, in time for lunch at the resort. In the late afternoon enjoy a 01-hour boat ride on the lake, a great opportunity to experience and discover the multitude of wild animals and birds that inhabit the area, but also to get up close and personal with the numerous hippo families that colonize the water. The day's activities will culminate at LAKE NAIVASHA SOPA RESORT for dinner and overnight. NOTE: Depending on the weather during the day, the boat trip could start in the early afternoon before lunch that is if it rains in the afternoon. One optional activity available to book and pay for directly for this afternoon: ??? Visit the Island of Cresent (mandatory with boat ride in it!)
Day 5
Lake Naivasha - Amboseli
Breakfast at the Lodge. Afterwards, commence drive due south out of Nairobi, along the Nairobi/Mombasa Highway for the first 125 KM (02 hrs drive) before turning due East towards Mount Kilimanjaro. The drive thence is through typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and colorful Masai herdsmen grazing their cattle. Arrive at the lodge located a few minutes from the park for lunch. At 15:30hrs depart for your first game drive in Amboseli National Park, famous for large herds of elephants. In the evening, exit the park and return to AMBOSELI SOPA LODGE dinner and overnight.
Day 6
Amboseli -Nairobi -Depart
Breakfast at the lodge, Return drive to Nairobi to arrive in the afternoon. (Optional lunch at a restaurant in Nairobi payable directly).
